Have just been through the cards for Canterbury and Sandown looking for horses with form round Chepstow, Newmarket or Goodwood. The way the imports are going, I'd take a long at form from Southwell.
(For the local reader, Southwell is an allweather track that get what Gary Portelli once described as "run of the mill bush horses" fighting over a few pounds to keep the tills ticking over in bookies on a cold winter Tuesday.)
Anyway, after that fascinating dissertation on the bottom rung of English racing, finally, my point! There are no Pommie imports running tomorrow.
Phew! Although I did notice a horse running tomorrow with good form against Park View, another one of our "could be anything" imports. Last time round, the two horses had a real neck and neck battle in bottomless ground with Park View showing real champion class in losing the lead and then coming back to win. The horse in question is the LMS Midweek tip (we said we weren't going to do tips!..ed.) MAYNEDA STRATEGY.
Race 4 Sandown tomorrow. We wont get better than $4 but if he holds his form, he might be better than Wednesday class...Hope so...
