Such a hard day ahead...

The Stradbroke is hard, trouble is so is every race in Brisbane tomorrow. Equally hard is wondering whether to take the $1.90 about Glass Harmonium. Any other race and I would probably try and find an outsider to upset the odds, but this time I might just take a sit. Mind you, with our boy Topping just about to be unleashed on an unsuspecting Brisbane public, I'd be tickled pink to see the other grey, Shuffle The Cash flying home....

Anyhow, feet on the ground time. I like Woorim and Shadows in the Sun tomorrow and kind of like Folino as well but I'm planning to watch from the sidelines.

On the other hand, we might venture out to Randwick tomorrow. Duff has tipped a $51 shot in the fifth and Scarf was a 5 star blackbooker on its last run. Apart from that it's all a bit humdrum.

The only horse we can get a little interested in tomorrow runs at Flemo. You wont't be surprised to hear he's an imported galloper, trained by Moloney. PERMIT was originally french trained and ran (albeit poorly) in Group class over 2500 and 3000 meters. He is third up in Oz and has Baster on board tomorrow. Add in that in his last race he was well beaten by December Draw and we reckon the $23 that Baldie is offering is great each way value.

Glass Harmonium will win. But Permit will pay $6 to run what the bloke on 2 ky calls a "drum". That's good enough for us this week. Topping will be back soon...
