Up for the Cup!

Another glorious sporting week in the best of all possible worlds. Punting tomorrow is that frustrating collision of winter horses against first uppers coming back after a spell. In a word, as ex British Lion Gareth Thomas would say "far from easy".

Hardest race of the day and frustratingly also the best race of the day sees our mate FORETELLER pitched in against old favourites like Scarf and Devils Arcade. Add in Gigino and Bay Window and we have a race.

Two things for me, using nothing but good old bias, we're pleased to see Bay Window here as he's also in the Coffs Cup this week and therefore one less horse for the Wonder Horse to beat as he starts his ahem "cups campaign". Plus Scarf is what the Duff calls "poison odds".

Add to that some logic and the fact that the owners of FORETELLER were crowing about the $15 they got from the generous souls at Tab Sportsbet, and we're on the Waller and Oliver combo. In fact, in a first, we are also taking Ollie to win the jocks championship. I reckon this import is a good thing after two trials. Can I remind you he ran in a GROUP 3 AT LONGCHAMP a fww runs ago?

Take the odds. Even if, like us you missed the $15...

Elsewhere, reckon it's another favourites day at Caulfield. Assuming they are on-pacers and have course form obviously. Everyone knows why. In Randwick I like SIKKA and SWEETEST MELODY at good odds and in Brissy we should look out for the stable mates of the Wonder Horse, particularly PAPER WEIGHT who at each way odds has "smokey" written all over him.

Only six days till the Wonder Horse is back...Jay Ford booked to ride... can't wait

Enjoy and good luck to Ollie and FORETELLER at each way odds.
