lots to like

I read on another forum that people are saying Foreteller might only be a wet tracker? I suppose they might be right, but reckon thats the first good run he's had and can't wait to see him over further. Very impressive.

Tragedy that Contract Caterer stayed at home today, had him going in a treble with his winning stablemate and Scarf in the last, which once again was a tip from the master.

Ron Dufficy also tipped Turnitup in Brisbane and again, we will keep backing him till he loses. Not as much upside as Free Wheeling from last week, but boy he looked good. Bensley was on about the run of Echoes of Heaven. Great, just keep everyone away from the winner, he's got lots more in store.

I was advised on Friday that CARIAD was in the hardest race of the day. And true to form, even from a good draw, he got dropped out last and guess what. Fast finishing, flashing home, didn't run a place. And this is a jock who knows the track better than anyone. I don't know...She'll win again. Wonder if she will get in the Straddy?

Feel sorry for connectons of the Freedman horse in Melbourne and She who must be obeyed. You have to have been an owner to know what it's like to get to the track and miss a run. We once owned a lovely Xaar filly, Xaar Xaar who drew box one up the straight in her first run. Unfortunately, they left a gap between the gates and the running rail and as they opened, our girl turned sharp left and headed for the open spaces of the inside of Flemington. Quite easily the worst day I have ever had at the track. And we did our money too...

Altogether.."that's racing!"

Blackbook all of them. And we await Shanghai and the Caterer. Still...
