Maybe we should spend more time picking ones that won't win...

Motown Lady finished 3rd. Still not sue what was going on there.

Off to Flemington this weekend for the first time since Cup day last year. Almost feel like we are going there blind, with no Pommie horses to back and a series of good fields. All tips more than welcome.

Sydney's no easier this week. Our old mate Contract Caterer is back in a trappy 2000m race. We heard that his saddle slipped last time but to be honest he ran a shocker and while we might take a bit of $31 e/w, the TAB astonishingly rate him a $6 chance. 5 to 1 in old money. Ridiculous...

Scarf will probably win again, albeit at $2.50. Add it into your multiples.

Great racing at Brisbane again and we will be having a good look at some horses at big prices. For lots of reasons, Gold Rating was a standout for us last week. Any horse that Toowoomba trainer Michael Nolan takes anywhere is well worth a look and we helped ourselves to the $8.50. Nolan brings OUTBACK GRANDE to town this weekend. The Corporates rate him any old odds. $71 on Centrenet. The TAB have him at $26. As they say, watch the betting...

CARIAD looks outclassed in her race. It is intriguing that she trialled again last week after disappointing in her two first up runs. We wont let her get under our radar, nor FROZONE. We have talked about Duffs Twitter Tips the last few weeks. It's getting out of hand now that even the TV experts are quoting Duff's tips, so the $23 on FROZONE is long gone.

Our bet of the week, without any doubt is WORLDWIDE. The experts on Form Line are wiffy about the form, but I will let you into a secret...They are wrong. Take the $5 and forget the NZ horse who won all his prize money in one big race. You can also forget the rising 9 year old and the flying grey.

We all know its the calm before the storm when the wonder horse reappears anyway...stay tuned...
