Twitter and racing.

We talked about it a few weeks ago, but racing in Australia and Twitter are on fire at the moment. Lee picked up a fine of $750 for calling someone a disgrace (don't want to say too much, could be us next) and trebled his followers. An hour ago, he tweeted that all was not well with Dane Julia, catching even Bensley by surprise.

Meanwhile, the legend that is Ronnie Dufficy two weeks ago tweeted Free Wheeling to win easily at double figure odds as well as Martin Place as a roughie which got beat a nose at $41. Oli Bell from Sky gave us a 15/1 winner in some non descript maiden at Pontefract or somewhere and this weekend the twitterati are all out in force with all the late mail. Duff is tipping VIva Las by the way. Marvellous. Free. What more could we ask?

It's inappropriate for us to blow any trumpets, let alone our own, but we did tweet that Victor DuBoisson was a live chance in the Wales Open golf at 250/1. Blow me down if he doesn't go and shoot 4 under! Go Victor!

Three big questions this week. Will Glass Harmonium settle and if so just how far will he win by? How wet will it be in Rosehill and will that stop the Caterer getting a run? Again? and finally...on the weekend of the Welsh open and the return of the prodigal son to the Millenium Stadium, will the Welsh horse win the Dane Ripper and get into the Straddy?

Answers are: Yes, as far as he likes, WET and no he won't run and finally WE BLIMMIN WELL HOPE SO. GO CARIAD! GO VICTOR! GO THE MIGHTY BOYOS!
