Sad. They looked tired. Maybe the Poland effect wears off after five games. Anyhow, we can move on now.
Sorry for the disruption and I hope many of you got the $26 about Riva De Lago last week. Happy Happy days.
The Cox Plate is a great race despite all my ante post bets being in the bin. We missed the Duff on Form Line this week, and as far as Alf is concerned, Helmet's a moral. As for the other fella, he said that the TAB money back for a place was a con and that Helmet would either win or beaten friendless. Then he tips it to run 2nd. Doh! Bring back the Duff!
As far as I am concerned, Helmet's no value and may well have run his grand final already. In fact, as far as I am concerned, people are forgetting the form race of the season, which as far as I am concerned (OK, enough already...)
KINGS ROSE is silly odds at 14/1. Glass Harmonium and Helmet will run hell for leather and Moody's horse...yes that Peter Moody...can be the late swooper. Or it might be Pinker Pinker. Or one of the others. God bless the Spring Carnival.
At Caulfield I also like a few others at odds, BLISS STREET and DANLEIGH. But it'a a day for small stakes each way doubles. As for Rosehill, nothing stands out but tempted to follow Duff's tip into EXCEED AND EXALT. He will tip it on the radio tomorrow and it will tumble in from 11/1 to half those odds. Will probably be playing exotics all day and perhaps a little look at taking on Racing Heart at short odds at the Farm.
But KINGS ROSE is the bet of the day, with an each way saver on Pinker Pinker. Have fun out there. Especially mon amis les francaises. Allez les Bleus!
