Have run the rule over the Canterbury meeting and sadly cant see many stand out wetties that the bookies have missed.
In race 2 it's between Whitlam and Charms Honour who got beat a length by Streama earlier on.
In the last race O'CRIKEY has the credentials, but he's only won once first up
The only other ones I could find are well found but for the exotics, add on WINNER TAKES IT ALL, LIECHTENSTEIN and LET THEM HAVE IT.
So why bother? Well the one horse who looks like he might be under the radar is in the best race of the day. It's entirely possible, based on his last two runs that he's outclassed and anchored by weight. On the other hand, he ran third in the Group One Sydney Cup after trying to make the running on a bottomless Randwick track. Dour, yes. But Jay Ford stays on and I have no problem ignoring the Hawkesbury form on a bone hard leaders track.
I think YULALONA will win the race, but you can get $51 the win and $12 the place about our wet smokey (excuse the tautology) in the Frank Underwood Cup. He's called SOLID BILLING.
Good luck...
